Özet

Based on the comprehensive data collection process administered in Turkey, Ireland, Denmark and Germany, TICON Consortium created the TICON Curriculum, which enables engineering teachers and scholars all around the world to teach creativity in online and hybrid environments. This study establishes the theoretical and practical connection between the data collected from HE engineering teachers participating in experience interviews (n=32) and focus group meetings (n=+60) and the choice and implementation of creativity techniques in the TICON E-Learning Platform. Data collected from four countries show that HE engineering teachers need more pedagogical support as well as knowledge and skills to teach creativity in an online environment. More specifically, this study explains how the TICON Platform is shaped based on student and teacher needs in an online setting, as well as how these creativity techniques are designed to fit the engineering design cycle. In addition, TICON Platform provides an innovative and online structure to engineering teachers in teaching creativity, as the E-Learning Platform provides all users the possibility to choose among a series of creativity techniques with detailed pedagogical support.
