<p>Prof. Dr. Okan Gülbahar, alerjik rinit ve astım, ürtiker ve anjioödem, arı alerjisi, anafilaksi, ilaç alerjisi, egzama, kontak dermatit, gıda alerjileri, herediter anjioödem, immün yetmezlikler ve immünoterapi (alerji aşısı) konularında uzmanlaşmış bir alerji ve immünoloji uzmanıdır. </p><p>Tıp fakültesi eğitimini Ege Üniversite'sinde tamamlamış, yine aynı üniversitede 'İç Hastalıkları Uzmanlığı'nı aldıktan sonra araştırma ve klinik kariyerini 'Alerji ve İmmünoloji' üzerine oluşturmuştur.</p><p>2009 yılında Türiye Herediter Anjiyoödem Çalışma Grubu'nu kurmuştur. 2013 yılında Türkiye genelinde hekimler arasında kalıtsal anjiyoödem farkındalığını artırmak için Gezici Herediter Anjiyoödem Okulu Programını başlatmıştır. Aynı zamanda Ulusal Herediter Anjiyoödem Hastaları Derneği'nin (2015) kurucu üyesidir.</p><p>Halen Ege Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesi Hastanesi, İç Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı, İmmünoloji ve Alerji Bilim Dalı'nda profesör doktor olarak görevini sürdürmekte olan Prof.Dr. Okan Gülbahar, 2011-2016 yılları arasında 'Başhekim Yardımcılığı' ve 'Kalite Koordinatörlüğü' görevlerini yerine getirmiştir.</p><p>İyi düzeyde İngilizce ve Fransızca bilmektedir.</p>
