<p>Ağırlıklı olarak Türkiye'nin tatlı su amfipod türlerinin taksonomisi üzerinde çalışıyorum. Ayrıca ben ve meslektaşlarım, Türkiye tatlı sularında yaşayan makrobentik omurgasızların ekolojik özellikleri üzerinde de çalışıyoruz. Fakültemizde 30 yılı aşkın bir süre çalıştıktan sonra koleksiyonumuzda Türkiye'nin çeşitli habitatlarından (dağ göllerinden ova nehirlerine kadar) örneklenmiş zengin bir omurgasız koleksiyonumuz bulunmaktadır.</p>
