<p class="ql-align-justify"> Prof.&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;Bintuğ&nbsp;ÖZTÜRK&nbsp;was&nbsp;born&nbsp;in&nbsp;İzmir&nbsp;in&nbsp;1971.&nbsp;After&nbsp;completing&nbsp;his&nbsp;high&nbsp;school&nbsp;education&nbsp;at&nbsp;İzmir&nbsp;Atatürk&nbsp;High&nbsp;School,&nbsp;he&nbsp;graduated&nbsp;from&nbsp;Ege&nbsp;University&nbsp;Faculty&nbsp;of&nbsp;Pharmacy&nbsp;in&nbsp;1992.&nbsp;Between&nbsp;1992&nbsp;and&nbsp;1995,&nbsp;he&nbsp;worked&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;research&nbsp;assistant&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Department&nbsp;of&nbsp;Pharmaceutical&nbsp;Chemistry&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;faculty.&nbsp;He&nbsp;completed&nbsp;her&nbsp;master&#39;s&nbsp;degree&nbsp;in&nbsp;Pharmaceutical&nbsp;Botany&nbsp;in&nbsp;1999&nbsp;and&nbsp;his&nbsp;doctorate&nbsp;in&nbsp;2004.&nbsp;Between&nbsp;1998-2002,&nbsp;he&nbsp;also&nbsp;served&nbsp;as&nbsp;the&nbsp;director&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;&quot;Hemodialysis&nbsp;Solutions&nbsp;Production&nbsp;and&nbsp;Quality&nbsp;Control&nbsp;Laboratory&quot;&nbsp;at&nbsp;Ege&nbsp;University&nbsp;Faculty&nbsp;of&nbsp;Pharmacy.&nbsp;He&nbsp;received&nbsp;the&nbsp;title&nbsp;of&nbsp;Associate&nbsp;Professor&nbsp;in&nbsp;2015&nbsp;and&nbsp;Professor&nbsp;in&nbsp;2025.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"> Prof.&nbsp;Öztürk&nbsp;has&nbsp;served&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;“Board&nbsp;of&nbsp;Directors”&nbsp;and&nbsp;“Faculty&nbsp;Council”&nbsp;of&nbsp;Ege&nbsp;University&nbsp;Faculty&nbsp;of&nbsp;Pharmacy,&nbsp;the&nbsp;board&nbsp;of&nbsp;directors&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;“E.U.&nbsp;Fac.&nbsp;of&nbsp;Pharm.&nbsp;Alumni&nbsp;Association”,&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;board&nbsp;of&nbsp;directors&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;“Izmir&nbsp;Contemporary&nbsp;Pharmacists&nbsp;Association”&nbsp;as&nbsp;well&nbsp;as&nbsp;holding&nbsp;chairmanship&nbsp;and&nbsp;membership&nbsp;positions&nbsp;in&nbsp;various&nbsp;committees&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;E.U.&nbsp;Faculty&nbsp;of&nbsp;Pharmacy.&nbsp;Öztürk,&nbsp;who&nbsp;conducts&nbsp;research&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;fields&nbsp;of&nbsp;medicinal&nbsp;plant&nbsp;chemistry,&nbsp;essential&nbsp;oil&nbsp;plants,&nbsp;plant&nbsp;databases,&nbsp;and&nbsp;ethnobotany,&nbsp;is&nbsp;currently&nbsp;a&nbsp;faculty&nbsp;member&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Department&nbsp;of&nbsp;Pharmaceutical&nbsp;Botany&nbsp;at&nbsp;E.U.&nbsp;Faculty&nbsp;of&nbsp;Pharmacy.&nbsp;Prof.&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;Bintuğ&nbsp;Öztürk&nbsp;is&nbsp;the&nbsp;father&nbsp;of&nbsp;two&nbsp;daughters,&nbsp;Şara&nbsp;and&nbsp;Lara.</p>
