Objectives: To evaluate if type 2 diabetes mellitus increase gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) levels of prostaglandin E-2 (PGE(2)), interleukin-1beta (IL-1 beta), tissue-type plasminogen activator (t-PA), and plasminogen activator inhibitor-2 (PAI-2).
