Özet
In this study, we initially propose two novel rank-based test statistics specifically tailored for scenarios where the trend of increasing locations in symmetric continuous distributions exhibits either convex or concave patterns. Subsequently, we introduce an adaptive test that integrates these two statistics with a well-known rank-based statistic. To demonstrate the application of our proposed methodology, a detailed illustrative example is provided. Finally, we conduct an empirical power analysis to evaluate the performance of the adaptive test statistic under various conditions, including increasing convex, concave, and linear location trends.
