<p> </p><div class="page" title="Page 1"> <div class="layoutArea"> <div class="column"> <p><span style="font-size: 10.000000pt; font-family: 'Arial'; font-weight: 700; font-style: italic">New translation through relay translation: reflections on literary manifestations </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10.000000pt; font-family: 'ArialMT'">The present work deals with the topic of re-translation through relay translation of literary works. First of all, the term new translation and the "alternative" of re-translation using relay translation will be meticulously discussed. In particular, the question of what kind of changes the method of relay translation has brought about during translation will be examined. The perspective of the translation-scientific approach should be preserved while examining. The important question is which latent factors can influence a relay translation. It should also be illustrated below to what extent these circumstances are reflected in the translation activity. Two new translations of Ste- fan Zweig's novella “Angst” are to be used as the subject of study. The analysis is carried out by comparing these two translations with the source text.
