Evaluation of Toxicological and Immunological Potential of New Oil-Based Vaccine Adjuvants in Mice

Project no. 30779 · Status: Kapanmış (Yayın bekleniyor) · 2023

Summary

Adjuvant systems are chemical substances, microbial programs or proteins that allow vaccines to optimize the yield reaction to the antigen. Vaccination is the most effective measure to control IBV Encrypt. However, traditional IBV vaccines are not effective enough due to the large number of IBV serotypes. In addition, new types of vaccines, such as multiepitope-based vaccine, cannot provide adequate protection by producing a lower antibody titer and a weak reproductive reaction. An adjuvant greatly increases the reactions and protection that occur with vaccines. It reduces the immunological stress of vaccines and can prolong the effective yield period. Currently approved adjuvants for veterinary vaccines are aluminum and oil emulsion adjuvants. 1 IBV (H 120) strain will be used in the study. IBV (H 120) water Assoc. Dr. It was given to our group by Fethiye ÇÖVEN. Water/Oil (W/O) Type emulsion Adjuvants (Coralvac RZ 528, Coralvac RZ 506) to be used in the study are formulas developed by Coral Biotechnology company and will be used for the first time within the scope of this thesis. Within the scope of the study, poisoning studies of adjuvants will first be carried out on albino mice (Swiss albino). Later, in immunization, mice will be administered a single dose intramuscularly. It is planned to purchase mice from the heart after immunization. In addition, immunological tests will reveal whether the vaccine provides immunity and its level of protection.
