EFFECT OF TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT ON QUALITY AND SKELETAL COMPLAINTS OF IMPROVED DENTAL CLINICS
Project no. 395 · Status: Kapanmış · 2015
Summary
Muscle and skeletal system diseases are a common and well known problem among dentists. Dentists often invite muscular and skeletal system diseases while using instruments that vibrate during treatments, repeating the same move over and over for a long time, trying to stop in an unsuitable posture and motionless. The aim of this project is to investigate the changes in dentists’ musculoskeletal complaints when using new and old dental devices - technical equipment. For this purpose, complaints were recorded after 50 dentists respectively used old instruments and new instruments for 12 months and regularly. For this, "Nordic Musculoskeletal System" and "Physical Workload" questionnaires were used and the results are presented with descriptive statistics.
