It was determined that of the students (n=7) with individual interview had BSI pretest total average score 128.71±16.12 and DSI average of 2.83±0.30, BSI posttest total average score of 48.14±17.03 and BSI average as 0.91±0.32 points, total of sub scale points averages of BSI showed decrease comparing to post test scores and this decrease in posttest was determined statistically meaningful in all sub scale points except additional Materials Sub Dimension (p<0.05). It was also determined that of the students with group interview (n=3) pretest total average points of BSI as 62.00±40.95, DSI average as 1.17±0.77 points, BSI posttest total average score as 17.33±5.86, BSI posttest DSI average as 0.33±0.11 points, all BSI sub scale average total points showed decrease in comparison with posttest points and this decrease was not considered statistically meaningful (p>0.05). Discussion and Conclusion: While individual interviews carried out within the scope of service of psychological guidance and counseling based on problem solving therapy were considered effective on mental illness symptoms of nurses, in terms of group interviews, the restructuring of this approach considering certain elements has been discussed in the light of the results of this study.
