DEVELOPMENT OF MICROEXRECTION TECHNIQUES FOR THE SIMULTANEOUS ANALYSIS OF PESTICIDE AND METABOLITES IN FOOD SAMPLES
Project no. 466 · Status: Kapanmış · 2017
Summary
Analysis of organic compounds such as drugs, pesticides, etc., which are important for human health and environmental pollution, is of great importance in clinical, food and environmental samples. Product protection strategies and many health-related organizations have introduced very strict regulations on maximum residue amounts (MRLs) to protect food quality and safety. Sensitive methods are required to determine these levels. The widely accepted method in this field is gas chromatography (GC) with different detector systems. However, nowadays, the importance of preparing the samples for analysis in order to increase the reliability and sensitivity of the results as well as device selection is becoming more and more evident. For this purpose, green micro-extraction methods, which have been reconciled with the analyzer, using less chemicals have been developed and started to be applied in different sample matrix. Within the scope of this project, it is aimed to develop micro extraction method for the analysis of pesticide residues together with metabolites in food samples. For this purpose, Fe3O4 / Ni / NixB nanocomposite magnetic adsorbent synthesized in the laboratory was used in the development of MSPE method for the extraction of pesticides. This method was used for extraction of bromopropylate (BRP) and Lambda-Cyhalothrine (LMD) pesticides from wine samples and extraction of Chlorpyrifos (CP) and Chlorpyrifos-oxon (CPO) metabolite from grape juice samples. The regression coefficients of the calibration curves are at least 0.98. The linear operating range is in the 0.1-5.0 ng mL-1 concentration range and the intra-day reproducibility value is not more than 15% and the recovery values are above 80%. The method developed in this project study provides an inexpensive alternative for performing pesticide analyzes in foods.
