Sustanaible Aquaponics Practices In Recirculating Aquaculture Systems(RAS): The Study On Fish-Plant Interactions

Project no. 20396 · Status: Kapanmış (Yayın bekleniyor) · 2019

Summary

In this study, from the aspect of sea food producing, having the potential commercial value of the African catfish (Clarias gariepinus) species with the tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) plant is tested in one recirculating aquaponics cycle system substructure production. The difference of the present aquaponics system provides in a recirculating system using the completely organic/natural materials. The appearance of waste water having rich organic substances solution is planned as a result of aquaponics systems indicating environmental friendly approach in aquaculture. With this production technique the perfect sustainable aim is planned to provide natural fertilizer in sea products-plant growth for the necessity of the fertilizer for the plant growth, by eliminating waste water. In aquaponics system conception media sealed seam systems are used. In planting perlite is preferred as a filling subtract. Turkey is rich with the perlite reserves. In this study different stock densities are being used (10-15-20 kg/m³), to find out which stock density is appropriate for plant growth.
