Tabakalı Kompozit Malzemelerde Düşük Hızlı Darbe Parametrelerinin Darbe Davranışına Etkisinin İncelenmesi
Project no. 687 · Status: Kapanmış · 2015
Summary
The aim of this study is to determine statistically the relationship between experimental data (force, velocity, energy, displacement, etc.) and parametres affecting the impact in order to better understand and analyze impact effects in layered composite materials exposed to low impact impact. 23 Factorial experimental design was used as experimental study method. Glass fiber-epoxy layered composite material was used in experimental works. Fiber orientation angles are ± 45. Composite plates are manufactured by hand lay-up method. Impact strength, impact damage, and damage areas on the front and back of composite plates are considered as dependent variables for factorial experiments conducted within the scope of the research. Variables of number of layers (TS), fiber density (FY) fiber weight ratio (FAO) which are thought to be effective on dependent variables are considered as independent variables. Two levels, 6 and 8, were determined for layer numbers from dependent variables. Two other dependent variables were determined as 468 gr / m2 and 600 gr / m2 for fiber density and 60% and 70% for fiber weight ratio. Experiments were carried out in triplicate for 23 factorial combinations of independent variables, with a total of 72 at 10J, 20J and 30J energy levels. The direct and interactive effects of the dependent variables on the independent variables were performed using statistical methods such as ANOVA and F-test. In addition, regression equations expressing the effects of independent variables on dependent variables were established.
