Summary

The purpose of our project entitled “INVESTIGATION OF HYBRID PULSATORS USING HIGH PRECISION PHOTOMETRIC AND SPECTRAL OBSERVATIONS” is to investigate the data obtained from different space-based scanning observations and to pinpoint their locations in the HR diagram. The targets analyzed in this study are 1SWASPJ162842.31+101416.72, CoRoT 102918586, KIC3858884 and KIC4544587. Since some of the companion stars of the analyzed systems are not pulsators, we cannot put them in the instability strip. However, the primary of the 1SWASP J162842.31+101416.72, both the primary and secondary of the CoRoT 102918586, and the primaries of the KIC3858884 and KIC4544587 are pinponted in the instability strip. According to the analysis, all the targets show the characteristics of the Delta Scuti and Gamma Dor pulsators including the pulsational frequencies and the absolute parameters. While the pulsational frequency ranges of the stars show Gamma Dor type properties, being in the Delta Scuti region, or vice versa, would be an important scientific discovery, it poses a significant problem in the process of the separation of the pulsating variables. This problem is related to the metallicity and the evolutionary stage of the stars. Keyword; pulsations, binary stars, photometry, frequency
