Project no. 200 · Status: Kapanmış · 2015
Summary
Recently we use nanotechnology for producing of multi-layered new generation of chemical and biological sensors, increasing the information storage capacity of computers, developing of new generation probes for treatment without damaging intact tissues, developing novel injection systems for drug and gene therapy, obtaining mechanically improved polymers and other substances, and removing pollutants from environment. There are many methods in the literature for the synthesis of organometallic compounds. Some of those; diffusion of supercritical solutions (RESS), supercritical precipitation of anti-solvents (SAA), sol-gel, hydrothermal synthesis and thermal decomposition. With such methods it has been possible to obtain organometallic compounds at the molecular size and industrial applications have gained widespread significance. In this work, it is aimed to synthesize phosphorus(%1), dysprosium(%3) doped silicate compound at the nano size using the sol-gel method and to form nanohybrid thin film layers on silicon wafers by spin coating technique. Characterization of the obtained thin films and powder were carried out using AFM, SEM, XRD and FTIR techniques. In addition, photoluminescence and thermoluminescence properties were investigated.
