LEMNA MİNOR YETİŞTİRİCİLİĞİNDE AZOT KAYNAKLARI VE KONSANTRASYONLARININ BÜYÜME VE PİGMENT YAPISINA ETKİSİ THE EFFECT OF NITROGEN RESOURCES AND CONCENTRATIONS ON GROWTH AND PIGMENT STRUCTURE IN Lemna minor CULTURE
Project no. 1061 · Status: Kapanmış · 2018
Summary
The members of the Lemnaceae family were duckweed in English and in our country as duckweed .This family; Lemna, Spirodela, Wolffia and Wolffiella consists of four species and 28 species (Bayhan et al., 1996, Uysal and Zeren, 1998; Artan, 2007). As in many parts of the world, Lemna minor Linneaus 1753, which is commonly found in almost every region of our country, is small aquatic plants floating in water. Water lentils have important tasks on earth as a source of oxygen throughout their lives. Biomass, pigments, mineral substances obtained from the plant, ß-carotene with high commercial value, chlorophyll a, xanthophylls and protein are more important as quality materials. Biomass increases depending on the elements in the water. Nitrogen sources which are the most effective of these elements are one of the most important factors affecting the growth and biochemical composition of aquatic plants. According to our production purpose, the nitrogen compound which is needed is studied in different nitrogen sources and concentrations. L. minor hoagland medium nitrogen sources were changed and different concentrations were tested. Chlorophyll a, carotene and protein ratio were investigated in the growth and biochemical structure of L. minor production at 25±1?. Üre -N ((NH²)²CO) was produced at 2500 µM L¯¹ and 5000 µM L¯¹, NO³-N (NaNO³) at 2500 µM L¯¹ and 5000 µM L¯¹, NO³-N (KNO³) at 2500 µM L¯¹ and 5000 µM L¯¹and NH4 -N (NH4Cl) at 2500 µM L¯¹ and 5000 µM L¯¹ ‘.The highest biomass of NO³-N (NaNO³) was 2500 µM L¯¹, while Üre -N ((NH²)²CO) 2500 µM L¯¹’s gave the lowest biomass. The highest number of leaves NO³-N (KNO³) 5000 µM L¯¹, the lowest number of leaves at , urea- N ((NH2)2CO) 2500 µM L¯¹ Carotene and chlorophyll a.ve protein ratio were studied at different concentrations of nitrogen sources. (2500 )M L¯¹ (50%) and 5000 )M L¯¹ (100%)). All nitrogen sources are vital because of the introduction of amino acids, the building blocks of the cell and thus proteins. In this study, L. minor dry matter ratio was examined and found to contain % = 93,84 water. The highest amount of carotene in NH³-N (NH³Cl) at 2500 µM L¯¹ (144,6670,667), and chlorophyll a 578,667?0,667f, the lowest amount of carotene and the chlorophyll a NO³-N (KNO³)at 5000 µM L¯¹ 94,667?0,333a a and 376,667?0,882a.. Protein content was found to be 21.32% in the highest in NH4Cl 5000 µM L¯¹ ‘and 16.84% in the NaNO³¯¹-N 2500 µM L in the lowest protein. Carotene and chlorophyll showed an increase in the same nitrogen ratio.
