Summary
<p>Nowadays, the use of catalysts is of great importance as it provides benefits such as reducing or eliminating the use of toxic solvents, increasing the yield of the product and using less energy. In tandem reactions, one of the methods to be used in this study, a single catalyst performs two different reactions in a single vessel. This is one of the most important advantages of this method along with being environmentally friendly and suitable for green chemistry. Another method, dehalogenation reaction, serves the purpose of eliminating this effect and protecting the environment since many halogenated organic compounds show high toxicity. Nitroarene reduction is an effective method for obtaining organic compounds especially used in the pharmaceutical field.</p>
