İnsansız Hava Aracı (İHA) Kullanılarak Pamuk Alanlarında Yabancı Ot Florasının Belirlenmesi, Klasik ve Jeoistatistik Flora Belirleme Metodlarıyla Kıyaslanması
Project no. 1031 · Status: Kapanmış · 2016
Summary
One of the main factors that negatively affect agricultural production is the weed problem. Weeds compete with main crops in terms of water, light, and nutrients that cause yield loss and quality reduction. Weeds also host to important plant disease agents. In order to determine the controlling strategies, weeds must be discriminated firstly and these activities are repeated for monitoring periodically. This flora determination works in the classical method is labor intensive, based on determining the weed density in meter square, frequency and coverage area. Using unmanned air vehicle by capturing images flying at low-altitude for flora discrimination, alternatively to classical method, has been researched topic recently. In this research; legal restrictions, challenges, and expectations about the availability of flora monitoring method, which takes less time than conventional methods and which are more economical and sensitive, have been discussed. As a result of the processing of spectral images taken from the test area with the help of unmanned aerial vehicle, weed presence and distribution could be determined and it was mapped together with location data.
