Summary
Women’s studies emphasize the importance of women narratives told by women. The main aim of this study is to think about societal cultural idendity through individual women who have less chance to have their voices heard in regard to men. The second aim is to re-read and understand a period through women narratives. Therefore, it is possible to evaluate this study as a social history of the Republic in which 38 women narratives as a means of social identity and social belonging of women in Turkey.
