Orta Anadolu’daki Bazı Tarımsal Ürünlerin Fenolojik Evrelerine Göre Spektral Yansıtma Karakteristiklerinin Belirlenmesi Üzerine Bir Araştırma
Project no. 894 · Status: Kapanmış · 2018
Summary
In order to be able to develop national and international agricultural policies and to be able to produce data on the applicability of these policies, cropland knowledge and therefore product yield estimation is of great importance. With today's developing technology, remote sensing and geographical information systems can be used to follow agricultural products. A region-based reference catalog is needed to show the spectral reflectance properties of the phenological stages of the plants in order to realize the product identification, the state of development of the product and the yield estimates of the product with high accuracy rates over the reflection values. However, for some crops with strategic designation in the research area and in our country, there is no catalog of reflection characteristics according to the phenological stages of the plants in accordance with the purpose mentioned. In this research, phenological stages for the monitoring of cultivated areas and development conditions of wheat, barley, potato, chickpea, beet, zucchini, corn, oat, rye, clover, pasture plants which are widely cultivated in Haymana county of Ankara province and Bünyan district of Kayseri province to determine the reflections they have made throughout the course. In the project, Landsat 8, Sentinel 2 satellite images were used to determine the reflection characteristics depending on the varying soil cover rates of the plants, which are used in different remote sensing techniques. Reflectance values of all these bants of the satellites were created using the Agro Visio software designed for this study, and a reference catalog (data bank) belonging 4 to the plants which had been farmed in the Central Anatolia region and had strategic designation for effective agricultural policy was created.
