Project no. 21376 · Status: Kapanmış · 2019
Summary
P. lanceolata L., is a perennial plant belonging to Plantaginaceae Juss. family, with rosette leaves up to 15-25 cm in size, and can grow up to 30-60 cm in length; flowering takes place from June to September. Although the plant originates from Eurasia, it is now distributed all over the world and is very pharmacologically effective due to its glycosides and other biologically active substances. In this study, the localities and populations where the species spread in Samsun province were determined and plant samples were collected for chemical analysis in a future study. The collected herbal material was then brought to our department, dried, ground and preserved.
