Welding Parameter Optimization of Electron Beam Welded Copper/Stainless Steel Joints
Project no. 20802 · Status: Kapanmış (Yayın bekleniyor) · 2019
Summary
Due to fast-moving technology and economic requirements, the welding of different metals has become important in order to obtain flexibility in design and has been the subject of scientific research for many years. In the study carried out, AISI 316-L stainless steel and electrolytic copper were welded. However, in these applications, problems occur that negatively affect welding performance. Since the physical and chemical properties of stainless steel and electrolytic copper are different, the welding parameters of the materials should be examined according to the properties of the material pairs. The aim of the project is to weld electrolytic copper with a wall thickness of 2 mm and to determine machine welding parameters of AISI 316-L stainless steel materials by electron beam welding method (EBW) and to determine the appropriate value parameters by performing oscillation with the offset distance.
