Summary

<p>Focusing&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;between&nbsp;cognitive&nbsp;capitalism,&nbsp;digital&nbsp;labour,&nbsp;and&nbsp;journalism,&nbsp;this&nbsp;project&nbsp;aims&nbsp;to&nbsp;examine&nbsp;the&nbsp;reflections&nbsp;of&nbsp;digital&nbsp;labour&nbsp;exploitation&nbsp;on&nbsp;journalistic&nbsp;practises&nbsp;and&nbsp;private&nbsp;lives,&nbsp;based&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;fact&nbsp;that&nbsp;journalists&nbsp;who&nbsp;produce&nbsp;news&nbsp;and&nbsp;content&nbsp;on&nbsp;social&nbsp;media&nbsp;platforms&nbsp;generate&nbsp;lower&nbsp;income&nbsp;compared&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;surplus&nbsp;value&nbsp;they&nbsp;create&nbsp;and&nbsp;expend&nbsp;unpaid&nbsp;digital&nbsp;labour.&nbsp;Within&nbsp;the&nbsp;scope&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;study,&nbsp;in-depth&nbsp;interviews&nbsp;were&nbsp;conducted&nbsp;with&nbsp;30&nbsp;journalists,&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;data&nbsp;were&nbsp;analyzed&nbsp;using&nbsp;the&nbsp;thematic&nbsp;analysis&nbsp;method.&nbsp;</p>
