EVALUATION OF THE MEAN REMAINING STRENGTH FUNCTION FOR MULTI-STATE SYSTEMS UNDER STRESS-STRENGTH MODELLING
Project no. 21762 · Status: Kapanmış · 2020
Summary

In this study, the mean remaining strength function of a multi-state system on the basis of component and system is investigated under the stress-strength modelling. Any component of the system has three states and affected by two random stress. The states of the component are determined according to these two random stress. The mean remaining strength function of component was obtained with the help of order statistics for both state 1 or above and 2 that refers to the partial or above and excellent performance of a component, respectively. The mean remaining strength function was also obtained for a three-state k out of n G system by taking into account the similar states. The mean remaining strength function of system at state 1 is presented with only simulation results. This study makes an important contribution to multi-state systems under stress-strength modelling.
