Although it is stated that the crisis management is very high at the 2nd and 3rd years of the expertise (n: 75, 31.3%), it has been determined to be very important in the whole process (in the first 6 months 21.7%, in the 6th-12th months 20.0% and in the 4th-5th years 18.3%).

Conclusions: With this study, the general and learner needs of general surgery students have been systematically determined at the national level for the first time.
