Summary
Biocidal products are substances used to destroy harmful organisms by chemical or biological means, to disrupt structures, to prevent damage caused by harmful organisms, or to fight in a different way. In our country, the licensing of biocidal products classified as 23 different types of products is made by the Ministry of Health Public Health Agency of Turkey. The physical, chemical analyzes, microbiological activity tests and stability studies required for the biocidal products at the registration stage are carried out in the laboratories authorized by the ministry, and the Laboratory for Environmental Health is one of these laboratories. "Good Laboratory Practices" or "Accredidation" Principles of the authorized laboratories within the scope of the Circular on "Biocidal Product Analysis and Labeling of Laboratories" it has become compulsory. Under this project, the substructure of our laboratory, which is already authorized in Biocidal Analysis, has been prepared for ILU principles.
