Functional immobilization materials based on organic- inorganic structures: applications for development of electrochemical biosensors)”
Project no. 1234 · Status: Kapanmış · 2016
Summary
In this study, the use of functional immobilization materials in electrochemical biosensor applications ve the feasibility of biosensors with materials based on organic-inorganic structures are investigated. Combining the functional properties of organic molecules with the strength properties of inorganic molecules such as clay with intercalations are used in the preparation of new immobilization matrices with important functions. In this study, 4-aminothiophenol modified montmorillonite (4ATP-Mt) was prepared as a first part ve used as an immobilization layer for the pyranose oxidase (PyOx) enzyme on the glassy carbon (GC) electrode. In the second part, a 4ATP-Mt based PyOx biosensor was formed by the attachment of 4ATP-Mt using electropolymerization technique on the gold electrode. Firstly, 4ATP intercalation of Mt was performed ve the success of intercalation was proved by Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray Diffractometer (XRD) ve Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) techniques. Surface morphology of 4ATP-Mt/PyOx was visualized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) ve differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), alternating voltammetry (CV) ve electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) methods to demonstrate the surface caverage stages. After determination of optimum working conditions of the biosensor, analytical performance was identified for glucose detection. In addition, the manufactured 4ATP-Mt/PyOx was tested for glucose analysis in artificial body fluids ve beverages.
