Summary
<p>In this study, firstly, three different test statistics based on ranks were obtained for the cases where the shape of the increase in the locations of the symmetric distributions is convex, concave or linear. Then, based on these three statistics, two adaptive test procedure based on ranks were obtained, which can be used to detect the increase in the location of the distribution, which are statistically more powerful than the non-parametric tests in the literature. Finally, the adaptive test procedures obtained were empirically compared with other test statistics in the literature.</p>
