EFFECT OF FOLIAR FERTILIZER APPLICATIONS ON THE YIELD AND SOME QUALITY PARAMETERS OF OLIVE (Olea Europaea Cv. Gemlik)

Summary
<p>Our country, which has an important place in the world's table olive and olive oil production, remains below the world average in terms of yield per tree. It is important to apply correct and balanced fertilizer programs in order to increase the yield of olive trees and obtain quality products. As with other products, when fertilizing olive trees, it is necessary to apply not only N, P and K fertilizers, but also some macro and micro nutrients. In the study, fertilizers containing K, Ca and B were applied foliar to the Gemlik olive variety, which has high economic value and is considered black, table and oil, and its effects on olive grain yield, leaf nutrient content (N, Ca, P, Na, K, Mg, Zn, Fe, Cu and Mn), oil yield and results were evaluated.</p>
