Project no. 23131 · Status: Kapanmış (Yayın bekleniyor) · 2021

Summary

In this thesis, poly(HEMA) nanopolymer was synthesized starting from HEMA monomer, modified with L-Lysine amino acid, and adsorption studies of cefotetan antibiotic on the modified nanopolymer were performed.

Cefotetan was adsorbed on the polymeric nanoparticle with optimized adsorption parameters under optimum polymer-drug interaction conditions. Then, a release profile was created for adsorbed cefotetan under conditions of stomach, intestine and blood pH. The polymer-drug nanocomplex, whose release parameters were determined, was labeled with 99mTc radionuclide using the stannous chloride reduction method with 96±2.06 % efficiency. Stability studies of radiolabeled polymer-drug nanocomplex were carried out.

Stability studies of the polymer-drug nanocomplex, whose radiolabeling profile was obtained, were carried out. The uptake profile was obtained by performing in vitro uptake studies on Escherichia Coli and Staphylococcus Aureus bacterial strains with the polymer-drug nanocomplex, whose radiolabeling profile was also obtained.
