Project no. 20082 · Status: Kapanmış · 2018
Summary
In the research entitled “The Evaluation of the Late Bronze Age pottery of Kral Tepesi”, the ceramics of the Kral Tepesi at the Late Bronze Age settlement in Kaleburnu/Galianoporni village in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus was examined. The pottery in question, separated into groups according to their outer surface colours, was carried out with typological separation. The areas where the ceramics came from have been named Plateau and Terrace of the settlement. The typological distinction was made by considering the context of the pottery. Doing this aims to have an idea about the character of the settlement and which of the Late Bronze Age ceramic groups were used in the Kral Tepesi settlement.
