Synthesis and Structural Characterization of a Potentially Active N-Isopropyltaurinamide Derivative

Summary

<p>In&nbsp;this&nbsp;study,&nbsp;<em>N</em>-(2-(<em>N</em>-isopropylsulfamoyl)ethyl)-4-methoxybenzamide,&nbsp;which&nbsp;was&nbsp;considered&nbsp;to&nbsp;have&nbsp;potential&nbsp;biological&nbsp;activity,&nbsp;was&nbsp;synthesized,&nbsp;and&nbsp;its&nbsp;chemical&nbsp;structure&nbsp;was&nbsp;elucidated&nbsp;using&nbsp;¹H&nbsp;NMR&nbsp;and&nbsp;IR&nbsp;spectroscopy.&nbsp;</p><p>In&nbsp;addition,&nbsp;predictive&nbsp;models&nbsp;were&nbsp;employed&nbsp;to&nbsp;obtain&nbsp;information&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;ADME&nbsp;properties&nbsp;and&nbsp;toxicity&nbsp;profile&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;compound.</p><p>&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;concluded&nbsp;that&nbsp;these&nbsp;findings&nbsp;may&nbsp;provide&nbsp;a&nbsp;basis&nbsp;for&nbsp;the&nbsp;development&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;more&nbsp;comprehensive&nbsp;future&nbsp;project.</p>
