ANTİBAKTERİYEL VE ANTİFUNGAL ÖZELLİKTE POLİMERİK NANOMALZEMELERİN SENTEZİ, KARAKTERİZASYONU VE DERİ ENDÜSTRİSİNDE KULLANILABİLİRLİĞİNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI
Project no. 1251 · Status: Kapanmış · 2017
Summary
In this project, poly(HEMA-MAPA) nanoparticles that include hydrophobic groups were synthesized by surfactant free emulsion polymerization method for controlled release of Tea Tree Oil (TTO). SEM, FTIR, Zeta-size, Zeta-potential and EDS measurements were performed for the characterization of nanopolymeric material. TTO were optimized maximum of binding conditions. The effect of time and initial concentration on the adsorption conditions of TTO under different medium conditions was investigated. In the experiments, maximum TTO binding conditions were determined in the poly(HEMA-MAPA) nanoparticle containing phenylalanine amino acids; A maximum of 55,44 mg TTO binding was calculated under at a concentration of 2,5 mg / mL TTO in ethanole for 45 minutes at 25 °C. pH and temperature experiments were performed to investigate the release conditions of nanopolymers bound to TTO under optimum conditions. The nanopolymer put into the cellulose membranes carried out release behaviors at high speeds in the first minutes and then at low speeds. It was observed that they carried out high rates of substance release. The nanomaterials developed are thought to be a nature friendly product that can replace harmful chemicals used in the leather industry and do not adversely affect human health. Antibacterial and antifungal leather products can be developed by adsorbing this nanomaterials into the leather and it can be used in different sectors such as textile sector.
