It was determined that there was a low-level negative relationship between the attitudes of the participating pediatric nurses towards the disabled and their advocacy roles. It has been observed that women take on more advocacy roles. This gender difference does not affect the attitude towards disabled people. The aging of pediatric nurses, their increasing professional experience, increased education level, presence of disabled people around them, and the fact that they have encountered disabled individuals before affect their advocacy role significantly. These variables did not have an effect on the attitudes of disabled people in health care.
