Wideband Microwave Imaging and Deetection Ssystem
Project no. 728 · Status: Kapanmış · 2016
Summary
Wideband synthetic aperture radar system has been developed and studied for targets, which are pyhsically unreachable or optical cameras are unable to detect, by using electromagnetic signals. The prototype system sends and receives electromagnetic signals at S-band and downconverts the received signal to baseband for digital signal processing via a computer. Proposed system utilizes synthetic aperture to facilitate much smaller antennas than would be required otherwise. This imaging technique is gaining widespread use in unmanned aircraft ground imaging and mapping.
