INVESTIGATION OF RESOLUTION VALUES OF THE SPECTROMETERS CONSISTED OF DIFFERENT TYPE RADIATION DETECTORS AND IMPLEMENTATION THEIR MONTE CARLO (MC) SIMULATIONS
Project no. 587 · Status: Kapanmış · 2014
Summary
In this project, which was carried out in Nuclear Physics Department of Physics of our university, the energy resolution values of the spectrometers which were consisted of different types of scintillation detectors were determined experimentally and theoretically. Theoretical procedure was performed using FLUKA Monte Carlo (MC) programme. For this purpose, MC simulations of the detectors composing the spectrometers were implemented most properly to the experimental methods. It has been determined that the theoretical findings were highly compatible with the experimental results by setting the MC programme for the experimental system. In this respect, it is believed that this project will be guided to the other studies in the same category.
