Developing a Special Method for Face-to-face and Distance Education: Kabak Kemane Method 3
Project no. 23163 · Status: Kapanmış · 2021
Summary
The concept of "distance education", which came into our lives due to the Covid-19 epidemic worldwide, has led to a new education process in applied departments such as conservatories. On the other hand, besides the synchronous lessons, the importance of the video lesson materials prepared for instrument lessons in this period is once again apparent. With this method project, a new written source has been created for the kabak kemane, and the videos we have prepared include theoretical information about solfeggio and maqam scales, as well as the measure-measure performance of the exercise or the work. Thus, our students will be able to easily do their work on each lesson subject, play along with the video recording, and have us listen to these exercises or works in our synchronous lessons. In the face-to-face education process, our method and videos will be presented to our conservatory students as course materials. The notes of the works in our fourth grade curriculum were written again for kabak kemane and professional videos of these works were shot. Thus, the method and image materials of the four-year kabak kemane education curriculum have been made ready for a possible extension of the pandemic process. On the other hand, this material will be a source for both our conservatory students and other conservatory students and music lovers who are interested in the kabak kemane as an amateur during the face-to-face education process, and most importantly, it will be ensured that the kabak kemane, which is one of our folk culture elements, will be passed on to future generations. These videos, which will be uploaded to the Ege University Egeders platform, will also be shared on social communication networks such as Youtube so that amateur people who are keen on kabak kemane can benefit from this resource, and will contribute to the education of people outside the university and undertake the task of social responsibility.
