Age and Growth Properties of Swallowtail seaperch (Anthias anthias (Linnaeus, 1758)) in Sığacık Bay

Summary
The study was carried out to clarify the age and growth characteristics of Swallowtail seaperch (Anthias anthias (Linnaeus, 1758)) in Sığacık Bay between January 2015-December 2015. A total of 792 specimens were caught by handline between 5,2-14,1 cm in length and 2,18-50,19 g in weight intervals. For age determination, totally 416 sagittal otoliths were found that the ages of our samplings presented by 0+ and 4 years groups.
