Summary
Biological wastewater treatment has been used increasingly since the 19th century. However, the demands and requirements on the wastewater treatment system have increased significantly in terms of the removal of inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus, the destruction of organic carbon, the removal of pathogens, and the breakdown of xenobiotic compounds which are difficult to break down. The formation of a microbial community having an effective xenobiotic removal capacity is often impaired by slow or low coherence of a slurry present in the composition. This is accompanied by sludge settling problems with deterioration of N-, P-, and C- removal. Bioaugmentation - the creation of new metabolic functions by the addition of bacteria or genetic information; it is a possible way to come within the community, overcoming these problems. With this study, it will be possible to replicate in the presence of suitable and economical substrates in reactor systems of adaptive, highly efficient and high performance vaccine cultures, which are used in the disposal capacity of various hydrocarbons and used in wastewater treatment. The conditions in which this replicated vaccine culture mixture is dried with a particular carrier, and the conditions with the best drying conditions, postharvest digestion and vitality activity will be determined. At this point, it is aimed to develop stabilized bacterial cultures imported from abroad and to be made producible in our country. At the same time, it will be possible to use this mixture in the treatment systems of the mixture which has a long shelf life during commercialization and afterwards.
