Summary

Within the scope of this master's thesis project, after the synthesis of different metal salts (CoCl2•6H2O and (NH4) 6Mo7O24•4H2O) compounds, they are mixed with graphene oxide structures synthesized using boron and/or nitrogen doped modified hummers method in certain proportions, and composite material for the anode compartment in lithium ion batteries is obtained. has been done.

The morphological and chemical structure of the synthesized composite materials were made using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Then, information about surface chemistry was obtained by using X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS). In the next step, graphite, graphene oxide, boron doped Co3O4/GO, boron doped MoO3/GO, boron and nitrogen doped Co3O4/GO and boron and nitrogen added MoO3/GO composite electrode materials were used as anode materials for lithium ion batteries. Cell-sized prototype lithium-ion batteries containing the prepared anode electrodes were prepared. Performance tests of batteries prepared as prototypes were carried out under laboratory conditions.

When the discharge/charge capacities, cycle number data and cyclic voltammograms of the anode test cells prepared for lithium-ion batteries were compared, it was found that the anode test cell prepared with “Boron and Nitrogen Doped MoO3/GO” had the highest discharge capacity.
