Summary
Journalism is one of the areas most affected by the developments in new communication technologies. Especially since the 2000s, with Digital Jounalism has attracted great interest in the sector and the trained personnel are more preferred in the field, in order to increase competence in this field, the infrastructure of the journalism departments has to be developed. Ege University Faculty of Communication Department of Journalism’s technical training it provides with its existing infrastructure and physical facilities is aiming to provide better conditions for students in the new building of the faculty and to make them more technically equipped. With the infrastructure project prepared within this scope, in the Digital Journalism Workshop of the Department of Journalism, procurement of the technological products that will contribute to the workshops will be taken as basis. In the applications to be made in the workshop, the use of new generation production materials in the digital journalism activities of the students and the purchasing of the necessary materials in the news meetings during the newspaper production process were determined as the main goal.
