Determination of side effects of some plant-based insecticides on Amblyseius swirskii Athias-Henriot (Acari: Phytoseiidae)

Summary
In this study, the side effects of some herbal insecticides were investigated with nanoparticulate preparations, Amblyseius swirskii Athias-Henriot of classical formulated preparations and commercial preparations and the effects of A. on protonimf and egg yields were determined. As herbal preparations, two commercial insecticides were selected, classical and nano formulation of tea tree extract, classical and nano formulation of neem tree extract, neem extract. It has been determined that all herbal insecticides used according to the results obtained in the study are in the harmful class of the side effect values against Amblyseius swirskii.
