Summary
In this study, “Hazardous Wastes Management” (corrosive, toxic and corrosive wastes), which is especially important in the context of "Integrated Waste Management" was carried out under the coordination of "Environmental Problems Application and Research Center" with the aim of ensuring the environmentally friendly disposal of hazardous wastes resulting from education, systematic establishment of intermediate waste storage stations in the units and establishment of the necessary infrastructure, establishment of operating costs for annual waste disposal, establishment of environment friendly wastes from the university borders, it is aimed to ensure that it is appropriately removed with accredited licensed firms / companies. Also, hazardous waste containers and banner brochures and labels were distributed to all departments. Hazardous waste inventories were updated and removed. Web page, and socail media were used for personal education and increasing the awareness.
