Determination of Masses and Mixings of Elementary Particles by Applying the Democratic Mass Matrix Approach to 3-3-1 Models and Their Investigation in Future Colliders
Project no. 22954 · Status: Kapanmış · 2021
Summary

In this project, the Democratic Mass Matrix approach will be applied to the 3-3-1 Model in which the local group is considered. With this method, both the mass hierarchy and mixing problem of fermions in the Standard Model will be solved, and the masses of the new fermions and gauge bosons and their mixing matrices will be determined. While doing these, linear analysis methods will be applied numerically in the MATHEMATICA code. By entering the new parameters and new physics Lagrangian into simulation codes, new particles will be produced in the future colliders. Then, the data generated with the help of the hadron-level simulation codes will be entered into other detector simulation codes, and the discovery limits of the predicted particles in the future colliders will be determined. This topic is quite current, and particle physicists are beginning to observe hints to new physics in experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (such as the LHCb). Therefore, there has been a long expectation of new physics. The 3-3-1 Model is one of the theories that can meet these expectations. Within the scope of the proposed project, the Democratic Mass Matrix approach will be applied to this theory for the first time. In this way, the subject is unique. If this project is supported, the findings will also contribute to the physics research potential of the FCC-eh and FCC-hh collider, which is planned to be established at FCC-CERN, where our university has a memorandum of understanding. During the studies, international publications will be made with foreign scientists, and the results will be presented both at the workshops to be held at CERN and at national and international congresses.
