PRODUCTION OF POLYVINYLIDENE FLUORIDE BASED NANOFIBERS BY ELECTROSPINNING METHOD AND THEIR APPLICATIONS IN AFFINITY SENSORS

Project no. 20015 · Status: Kapanmış · 2018

Summary

The nanofibers obtained by the electric spinning method are very popular today. It contains bioconjugates through covalent bonds, with the convenience of immobilization of biological molecules and also with the addition of functional groups. This polymer was chosen as the poly polymerimine poly (vinylidine fluoride) (PVDF), and the polyethyleneimine (PEI) polymer containing amine groups as a functional group was used as the second polymer. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and contact angle meter were used for the characterization of PVDF-PEI nanofibers. Immobilization of methamphetamine (METH), an immobilizing, illegal drug that could not be used in anti- methamphetamine (Anti- METH) electrochemical analysis. Surface modification of PVDF-PEI / Anti-METH biosensor was achieved by differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) studies. The effect of METH on the sensitivity of the PVDF-PEI/Anti-METH biosensor was measured by derivatization with dansyl chloride (DNC). The linear range for the METH-DNC of the PVDF-PEI/Anti- METH biosensor is 0.5-5 ng/mL and the detection limit is 0.007 ng/mL. Measurements for METH analysis in body fluids were performed with synthetic sweat and tears.
