DETERMINATION OF PHENOLIC SUBSTANCES AND FLAVONOIDS OF THE PLANTS CENTAUREA SALİGNA WAGENİTZ, CENTAUREA AGGREGATA VE CENTAUREA URVİLLEİ DC BY LC-MS/MS
Project no. 260 · Status: Kapanmış · 2016
Summary
Centaurea is one of the largest endemic genera growing in Turkey with more than 200 species, of which about 140 are endemic.,.The genus Centaurea is a genus rich in phenolic content. In previous studies Centaurea species were examined by LC-MS / MS to examine the profile. In these studies, caffeic acid, cinnic acid, chlorogenic acid, elagic acid, apigenin, jaseosidine, eupatorin, quercetin, rutin and catechic acid are frequently seen. Chemical profile of Centaurea aggregata subsp. aggregata, Centaurea urvillei subsp. urvillei and Centaurea saligna were examined using 15 standard materials. Jaseocidine, elagic acid, sirsilineol, eupatilin, hispidulin, coumaric acid was detected in C. aggregata subsp. aggregata. Jaseosidine, sirsilineol, eupatilin and hispidulin were detected in C. urvillei subsp. urvillei, In the plant C. saligna, eupatilin and hispidulin were found. This study is a pioneer for further studies.
