Summary
<p>In this study, it is aimed to develop two-dimensional flat and tubular braided structures that can be used in various fields and to investigate their performance characteristics. Within the scope of the study, in order to manufacture a textile surface from braided structures, the appropriate stitch type was determined. Then, braided structures were produced in stages to determine the effect of braiding production technique, material type, design type and elastic yarn content on the performance properties of braided structures. The physical, dimensional and comfort properties of the produced braided structures were measured. In the light of the data obtained, production parameters such as material, construction and elastane ratio, etc., which offer optimum properties for usage areas such as accessories like belts, bags, etc., especially in the shoe product group, were also evaluated.</p>
