THE FLORA OF KOZAK PLATEAU AND MADRA MOUNTAIN (Bergama/İZMİR)

Summary
In this thesis, the flora of Kozak Plateau and Madra Mountain which are placed in Bergama district which is in the borders of İzmir Province was determined. As results of collecting and identifying the plant specimens, in total 340 taxa from 63 families were determined. In these taxa, were determined as 3 taxa of Pteridophyta, 5 taxa of Gymnospermae and remaining 332 taxa of Angiospermae. On the other hand, in Angiospermae members, were determined 30 taxa as Monocotiledonae and 302 taxa as Dicotyledonae. The endemic taxa number is 8 and endemism ratio of is 2.2 % in study area. The distribution of taxa by phytogeographical regions are as follows; Irano- Turanian elements 3,5%, Mediterranean elements 18%, Euro-Siberian elements 13,8%. Keywords:
