Project no. 1036 · Status: Kapanmış · 2016

Summary

Anagyrus pseudococci (Girault) (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) is one of the major parasitoids of mealybug that cause damage in the citrus and vineyard. In this study, while preserving the positive properties of certain herbal preparations, with nano-formulated preparations developed to reduce adverse effects according to previous formulations side effects of the commercial formulations and commercial preparations against Anagyrus pseudococci have been determined. In the study, side effects of neem and tea tree extracts on classical and nano-formulated preparations and commercial preparations to Anagyrus pseudococci adults and parasitization rate were investigated. According to the data obtained in the study, the adverse effect class values against all Anagyrus pseudococci adult individuals of all herbal preparations other than a commercial preparation were found harmless. However, all herbal preparations were found to be in the middle-harmful class in terms of their effect on the parasitization rate of Anagyrus pseudococci.
