Determination Of The Agromorphological Characteristics Affecting The Grain Yield And Quality Of The Bean Genotypes Sugar Composition And Protein Content

Project no. 867 · Status: Kapanmış · 2017

Summary

Investigation was carried out to determinate biochemical contents and sugar components and the relations of these properties with agronomic properties of local bean populations and commercial varieties whose morphological and molecular characterizations were defined with previous studies. With this knowledge to determine the populations that can be used in the enriched bean breeding programmes. For this purpose, in particular Aegean and Marmara regions, including Turkey's different regions and the population which brought from different countries was examined a total of 59 beans. In the evaluation, statistical differences were observed among the populations in terms of phenol, antioxidant contents and glucose, fructose and sucrose contents.. Results of two years revealed that there is a large variation between the populations especially in terms of phenol antioxidant content. Total phenol content ranged between 82.53 mg GAE / 100 g WW-88.70 mg GAE / 100 g WW with 25.89 mg GAE / 100 g WW-35.82 mg GAE. The antioxidant content varied between 6,33 µmol TE/g WW-7,32 µmol TE/g WW ile 1,18 µmol TE/g WW-1,09 µmol TE/g WW. These variations were analyzed in terms of sugar components, glucose content varied between 0,09 g/100 g-0,1 g/100 g ile 1,77 g/100 g-1,65 g/100 g, fructose content ranged from 0,22 g/100 g-0,15 g/100 g to 1,94 g/100 g-1,65 g/100 g and sucrose concentration varied between ,05 g/100 g-0,08 g/100 g with 0,85 g/100 g-0,82 g/100 g.
